Sweep Units
| Intentionally forming a constant radius into a part as it exits the rollform tooling and machine is called sweeping. Century Rollforming has designed and developed a complete line of sweep fixtures and tooling to produce swept cross sections for parts such as small screen frames or window guides, to larger automotive door frames, roof bows, headers and bumpers. |

The fixtures adjust the tooling in all 3 spatial dimensions on slides equipped with mechanical read outs. The read outs are calibrated to the screw pitch of the slides so the amount of actual slide movement is displayed yielding the accuracy required by parts swept in side to side, up and down or a compound of sweep planes. The displays create ease in repeating set ups reducing tedious adjustment to previously developed locations. |
